Celebrity Dairy is a working goat dairy on 300 acres in rural Chatham County, midway between Pittsboro and Siler City, built around an atrium that joins a Greek Revival farmhouse to an 1800 log cabin. The farm has been a licensed goat dairy since 1991, and the inn that grew up alongside it rents the whole property for a wedding.
A wedding here follows the inn's own rental terms: exclusive use of the public rooms, the immediate grounds, and the guest rooms, typically from Friday noon through Sunday noon. The grounds hold outbuildings older than the dairy itself, a smokehouse from the 1880s and tobacco barns from the 1940s, along with trees the inn dates to about 250 years old, so the whole working farm becomes the backdrop for the day.
The Atrium and Log Cabin
The atrium is the inn's central room, about 1,000 square feet between the log cabin and the newer part of the house, arranged with long tables or individual four-top tables depending on the event. It holds rehearsal dinners of up to 70 people and stand-up receptions for up to 150. The adjoining log cabin, at 400 square feet, gives a smaller room next door for a bar, a gathering spot, or overflow seating, with a loft above that the inn asks adults to supervise when children use it.
The Lawn and Tent
Outdoor events at Celebrity Dairy can hold up to 250 guests, on a well-shaded lawn beside the atrium and side porch sized for a 40-by-70-foot tent. A separate 16-by-24-foot covered porch outside the kitchen gives a band or DJ its own footprint apart from the tent, and the inn's wraparound porches serve as ceremony space, musician setup, or a reception line. Parking sits in the front pasture.
The Inn
Overnight, the wedding party has the run of the farmhouse and its guest rooms. One ground-floor room is fully wheelchair accessible, with a roll-in shower. Rooms range from twin-bed rooms suited to family or children to a king room with its own two-person jacuzzi tub. Breakfast on wedding mornings comes from the farm's own kitchen.

Celebrity Dairy is a working farm first, so the florals that suit it best look gathered from the property: loose work in soft, warm tones that sits easily against weathered wood, stone, and pasture. The atrium's scale suits taller work at a head table, while the log cabin's smaller footprint rewards something closer and quieter, a single loose arrangement. Under the tent, the aim is warmth in daylight and, later, under string light: low runs along farm tables and simple frames at the ceremony point that keep the fields in view behind the couple.

Celebrity Dairy sits about an hour from Raleigh and about thirty minutes from Chapel Hill, off Mt. Vernon-Hickory Mountain Road, in the Piedmont between Pittsboro and Siler City.
