The Distillery NC sits just outside Raleigh in Garner, a refined industrial building set up for weddings and events.
The venue has three spaces: a main event room for the ceremony and reception, a separate cocktail area with an indoor lounge and an outdoor patio, and a lounge for getting ready.
The White Space
The White Space is the venue's main event room, 3,200 square feet with polished concrete floors and warm wood accents running through it. Eight gold chandeliers hang overhead, the fixture that carries most of the room's warmth against the white. The room seats and serves ceremony and reception both, run as one continuous space, with no reset between ceremony and dinner.
For larger weddings, the White Space combines with the Gathering next door to form one larger room. On its own, the White Space suits a smaller wedding.
The Gathering
The Gathering is the venue's cocktail space, built in two parts: an 800-square-foot outdoor patio and a 3,000-square-foot indoor lounge, climate controlled, with oversized black-framed grid windows. It is designed to hold cocktail hour on its own, then open into the White Space for weddings large enough to need the combined room.
The Cottage
The Cottage is a 700-square-foot lounge set aside for getting ready, with an oversized seating area, a full-length mirror, and a private restroom. It sits apart from the main event spaces, giving a wedding party a room of its own before the day moves into the White Space and the Gathering.
What We Design Here
White walls, polished concrete and warm wood make a clean, bright backdrop, and arrangements here need real weight and clear color to stand out. Deep, saturated color reads as strongly here as it would against any dark room, while a lighter palette needs enough scale and structure to register against so much white.
The gold chandeliers set a warm metal tone that pairs naturally with brass, amber glass, and other warm vessel finishes, and the black-framed windows in the Gathering give a hard graphic line that a looser, more textured arrangement can play against. Because the White Space and the Gathering are meant to combine for larger weddings, we design for both rooms together from the start, so cocktail hour and the reception feel like one continuous event.
Practical
The Distillery NC is in Garner, south of Raleigh. Street parking runs less than two minutes from the building. Full venue access runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Area lodging is worth confirming with the venue when you book.
