Floral design for the moments that matter most

Raleigh wedding florist designing bridal bouquets, ceremony pieces and reception florals for weddings across Raleigh, the Triangle and North Carolina, and happy to travel beyond. Anita’s table design took first place in the Sweetheart Table Competition at the North Carolina State Florists Association’s 2026 convention. Your wedding day is something you’ve been imagining for years: maybe since you were ten, flipping through magazines or pinning your first inspiration board. We take that seriously. Couples usually walk in with a feeling in mind, and that feeling is where we start.
At Hidden Door Floral Studio, we don’t design from a menu. There’s no catalog of pre-made centerpieces or standard bouquet packages. We design around a feeling. An atmosphere that wraps around your guests the moment they walk in and stays with them long after the last dance. The flowers at your wedding won’t just decorate a room. They’ll define how the room feels.
How we plan your wedding flowers
The consultation. We start with a conversation about your venue, the season, your colors and the feeling you want in the room. Bring a mood board or a few photos if you have them.
Your proposal. After that conversation you get a written proposal with every piece and a clear number. You can ask for changes, then sign it online. Your date is held once the signed proposal and the first payment are in.
The details. Closer to the day, we go over the final plan with you and coordinate timing, setup and breakdown with your venue and your planner.
The day itself. We deliver, install every piece and break it all down at the end, so your family can enjoy the day.
Weddings we have designed
Anita has designed weddings at the North Carolina Museum of Art on Blue Ridge Road. For other venues, our guide to North Carolina wedding venues covers the spaces, the light and what we design for each one.
Where we travel
Our studio is in Raleigh, and many of our weddings are across the Triangle. We design weddings across North Carolina too, and we travel further for the right wedding. Tell us where yours is and we will talk it through.
Common Questions
How much does a wedding florist cost in Raleigh?
Every wedding is different, so we quote each one individually. Cost depends on the scope. Whether you need a bridal bouquet and a few centerpieces or a full ceremony-to-reception installation. After our first conversation you get a clear number you can plan around.
How far in advance should I book my wedding florist?
A year or more is ideal. It gives us the most flexibility with design, sourcing, and scheduling. Six months is very workable. At three months out, we may still be able to fit you in. If you are closer to your date, still reach out, but know that your spot is not secured until we have a signed agreement and the initial payment is received.
Can I get flowers that are not in season?
Yes. We work with specialty growers and importers who can source almost anything year-round. Seasonal flowers will always give you the best value and the freshest look, but if you have something specific in mind for your day, we will find it.
Do you set up and break down at the venue?
Always. We handle delivery, full installation, and breakdown. Your family gets to enjoy the day while we look after every vase. We coordinate directly with your venue and your planner so everything is in place before guests arrive.
