Refund policy
Fresh flowers are bought and cut for your order the moment it is placed, so orders are not refundable. Please read this before you order.
No refunds. Once an order is placed, we do not refund it. This applies whether the order is cancelled, refused, or cannot be delivered.
What can be refunded. For a pre-booked event, the delivery and set-up fees can be refunded; no other charges are. For an everyday arrangement, the delivery charge can be refunded; nothing else is.
Partial refunds. We may occasionally offer a partial refund. That is at our discretion and is our decision alone.
The most a refund can be. A refund can never exceed the total paid for the order, including tax and delivery charges.
Your responsibility. Before you order, check that the recipient will be available on the delivery day and that the delivery address is correct. When we deliver to the address you gave us, we have fulfilled our contract with you. We have no obligation to retrieve the flowers and deliver them again, which means two more trips. If we decide to help, there is a $30 charge for it.
The recipient's phone number. We ask for the recipient's number so we can let them know their flowers are on the way. If it is left out and the delivery cannot be completed or has to be rerouted, a $30 charge applies. It helps us keep every delivery on the day running smoothly.
What counts as delivered. An order is delivered when it is left at the address, handed to anyone at the address, left with a front desk, a neighbour or a receptionist, or left at the door. Our driver's photo of the delivery is the final record. Once the flowers are left at the door we are not responsible for theft, or for the flowers sitting in the cold or the heat; please let the recipient know they are coming. A refused delivery, a closed business, a hospital patient who has been discharged or moved, or a venue that will not accept flowers all count as delivered; we can deliver again for a charge.
Delivery day, not delivery hour. We deliver on the day you choose, not at a specific time, unless you purchased a timed delivery. Funeral homes, hospitals and other venues receive flowers on their own schedule, which we cannot control.
Substitutions. Flowers are seasonal. If a bloom, a container, a colour, a ribbon, a wrapping or a greenery in the picture is not available, we use one of equal or greater value in the same style and palette. That is part of every order and is not grounds for a refund.
If something is wrong. In the unlikely event that flowers wilt early, send us a few photos within 24 hours. Replacement is at our discretion, and the photos are what let us look into it.
Allergies and pets. Some flowers and plants can affect people with allergies, and some are harmful to pets if eaten. It is your responsibility to check before ordering; we are not responsible for a reaction in a person or an animal.
Events beyond our control. When weather, road closures, civil unrest, a supplier failure or any other event beyond our control (force majeure) stops a delivery, we deliver on the next possible day. That is not grounds for a refund.
Photos and card messages. We photograph every arrangement for our records and may share the photo with you. The card message is your words; we are not responsible for its content.
Pricing errors. An obvious mistake in a listed price may be corrected, or the order cancelled and refunded in full, before the arrangement is made.
Respect for our people. We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund it, when a customer is abusive toward our staff or drivers. That decision is ours alone.
Reviews. We read every review. If something went wrong, please tell us first, so we can put it right. Reviews that are false, that describe an order that was never placed, or that are written to extract a refund are reported to the platform and may be answered with the delivery record.
Chargebacks. Disputing a charge with your card company for an order that was delivered as described is a breach of these terms. We answer every dispute with the delivery photo, the delivery record and this policy.
Disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Any dispute about an order is settled by binding arbitration in Wake County, North Carolina, not in court. The party that loses pays the other side's attorney fees.
Refunds, where one is given, go back to the card that paid, within a few business days.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
