Chandelier Event Venue is a purpose-built event space on Darrington Drive in Cary. The main room runs under gold chandeliers and soft draping, with pearl marble floors and uplighting set around the walls.
The venue is all-inclusive: catering, china, barware, and event coordination come from the same company. Weddings run for up to 180 guests standing or 150 seated, with a minimum of 50 guests required to book the space. Events can start as early as 11 a.m. and must end by 10 p.m.
The Ballroom
The ballroom is the room the name refers to: chandeliers run overhead throughout the space, and the draping and uplighting are permanent fixtures of the room. Guest counts over 105 use what the venue calls its Runway Layout; at 105 or fewer, the room is set with rounds throughout. A gold hoop arbor is available for ceremonies held indoors, and two private suites off the ballroom hold the wedding party before the day begins.
The Wisteria Terrace and Garden Courtyard
Chandelier's outdoor space, the Wisteria Terrace and Garden Courtyard, covers 4,000 square feet next to the ballroom. It is planted with trees and a turfed lawn, and the venue positions it for golden-hour portraits and open-air cocktail hours before guests move indoors. The shift from courtyard to ballroom gives a wedding day its structure: air and daylight first, then the chandeliers overhead for dinner.
The Kitchen
Chandelier grew out of Fluent N' Food Catering, the event company that still runs its kitchen on-site. Food is prepared fresh in the on-site kitchen, which the venue says keeps service running on time. The kitchen's style is described as globally inspired, and china and barware come with the booking.
What We Design Here
The gold chandeliers and pearl marble floors set a room that already runs warm and reflective, so our work leans toward pieces with enough structure and weight to read clearly from across the room under that light. Metallic surfaces call for texture: matte, dimensional work stands out clearly against the fixtures. The ceiling line and the chandeliers already carry height, so table work can sit lower and denser while the chandeliers fill the space above.
Outdoors, the courtyard's planting and lawn give us a softer, looser register for cocktail hour, work built for eye level and close viewing. Moving a wedding from courtyard to ballroom means moving the palette too, from a garden register outside to something denser and more architectural once the chandeliers take over as the room's light source.
