The Evermore sits on nearly 20 acres of pasture and garden in Apex. The barn-style hall at the center of the property is climate-controlled and holds a dance floor, a flexible lounge and gathering area, and a rustic bar.
Outside, an oversized courtyard connects the hall to the grounds, with firepits for the evening. The property includes the Wildflower Butterfly Gardens and a 1-acre pond.
The Main Hall
The hall itself covers 6,200 square feet and is built around its dance floor and lounge area, and five picture windows run the length of one wall, turning the pastures into the room's backdrop. The rustic bar and gathering area sit to one side, giving the space a natural break between dancing and conversation while keeping it one open room.
The Courtyard
The courtyard is set up for both ceremonies and cocktail hour, with a herringbone aisle running through it and firepits at its edges for cooler evenings. It opens directly onto the pastures and the pond, so a ceremony here faces the pastures and the pond.
Preparation Suites and Catering
The venue has two separate suites, one for the bridal party and one for the groomsmen, the latter with a television and outdoor games nearby. A catering preparation kitchen serves the hall, equipped with a double-door refrigerator, a sink, an ice machine, and a preparation station for a catering team working the event.
What We Design Here
The hall's picture windows put the pastures inside the room for most of the day, so arrangements here can sit lower and quieter and let the wall of glass supply the scale. Warm wood tones in the bar and lounge area call for texture: matte finishes, natural fiber, and containers in wood, ceramic, or aged metal that sit well against the grain.
In the courtyard, the pastures and the pond draw the eye, so we give the ceremony an arch or aisle marker with real weight and shape to hold the space. As the light goes from daylight into firepit glow, deeper, warmer tones carry the evening into firelight.

The Evermore is in Apex, a short drive from downtown Raleigh. The venue offers exclusive use of the hall, the grounds, and the courtyard for the day of the event, along with 1 hour of pre-event access for photos and 1 hour of rehearsal time within the week before.
