Twin Oaks Barn Venue sits on nearly 12 acres in Garner, built around a timber barn raised in 2020 from wood milled on the property itself. The barn is climate controlled.
The property is arranged so a wedding day can move from morning preparation to ceremony to reception without ever leaving the land: getting-ready suites, a ceremony lawn, a covered patio, and the barn itself all sit within a short walk of one another.
The Barn
The barn is a single open hall, 6,000 square feet with ceilings that rise 30 feet overhead, giving the room enough air above the crowd that a band, a dance floor, and long dinner tables can all share the space. Dimmable lighting and a built-in sound system are part of the room itself, and a caterer's prep kitchen with a large ice machine sits just off the hall.
The Ceremony Lawn and the Overlook
Ceremonies take place on a manicured lawn under a permanent 12-foot arbor, with rows of white padded chairs facing open farmland. From there, guests move to the Overlook, a covered patio measuring 14 by 70 feet, for cocktail hour, with a fire pit and lawn games close by for the reception to spread into once dinner is done. The Bridal and Groom's Suites are on-site, each with private bathroom access and hair and makeup stations.
What We Design Here
The barn's 30-foot vaulted ceiling and dimmable lighting leave a great deal of air above the tables, so we raise centerpieces on risers and let them climb toward the rafters. The barn's milled timber takes color well, so a reception here can run warm and saturated indoors so a reception here can run warm and saturated indoors, while the ceremony outside stays quieter and more textural, where the arbor and the open lawn already carry most of the visual weight.
Outdoors, arrangements meet open daylight and a wide horizon, so scale and structure lead. Under the covered patio, evening light changes what reads well, and pieces sized for a dinner table, made to be seen up close, look their best there.
