Starlight Meadow sits on open land in Burlington, built around two barns and the meadow they overlook. The property is owner-run, and it shows in the way the place is organized: everything a couple needs for the day, including seating and golf carts to carry guests between sites, comes with the booking.
Couples pick from four ceremony locations on the same property: a barn, a gazebo, a wooded site with a stone arch, and an open field. Each puts a wedding in a different setting without changing the address, so a couple can hold the ceremony under trees and the reception under a barn roof an hour later.
The Barns
Two barns anchor the property. The main barn holds the reception, with tables, chairs, and linens included, and doubles as an indoor ceremony option for couples who want the day under one roof. A bridal changing room and a separate groom's room sit on-site, the bridal room with a fireplace and a view over the grounds, the groom's room with a television and a seating area. Restrooms sit next to the main barn and are climate controlled.
The Ceremony Sites
The gazebo stands in the field. In the wooded section of the property, a stone arch frames the ceremony under tree cover. The fourth option is the field itself, wide open to the sky. 40 white benches, included with the venue, seat guests at whichever site a couple chooses.
The Grounds
A fire pit gives guests a place to gather once the dancing winds down. Parking is on-site, and two golf carts with staff drivers move guests who need help covering the distance between the ceremony sites and the barn. The venue handles setup, cleanup, and trash removal as part of the booking, and any outside vendor can be used as long as they carry proper insurance and a health rating.
What We Design Here
Out in a working meadow, the flowers have to hold up to open sky and whatever weather the day brings. Inside the barn, warm and layered arrangements suit the wood tones and the string lighting that a barn setting invites: dense low work on the tables, taller pieces where the ceiling allows for it. Outdoors, we scale back. Against a stone arch in the trees, structure and texture lead, since the woods already supply the color. In the open field, we keep it lightest of all: a low, airy line at the aisle, and the meadow and the sky fill the rest of the picture.
Across all four sites, the palette we build toward is one that photographs true in direct sun and in the gold light Starlight Meadow gets at the end of the day, since a couple choosing an outdoor ceremony here is choosing that light on purpose.
Practical
Starlight Meadow is a farm property outside Burlington, reached by car on Shoe Rd, with parking included on the grounds. The venue does not publish a rehearsal dinner or overnight lodging option on its own site; a rehearsal time is assigned 60 days ahead of the wedding.
