Southern Grace Farms

Location: 465 Clayton Road, Angier, NC 27501 Capacity: Up to 150 guests Type: Barn / Farm Website: southerngracefarmsnc.com

Southern Grace Farms sits on 22 acres of pasture in Harnett County, a family-run property built around a modern farmhouse-style reception barn, a pond with a fountain, and horse stables visible from the grounds. It was established in 2021, and the build shows in details a larger operation would skip: a grain silo turned into a working bar, a groom's cottage with its own fire pit, an on-site decor shop, the Southern Charm Shop, with centerpieces, arbors, accents and table settings couples can use or mix with their own.

Pastures run to a tree line, the pond catches afternoon light, and the barn's chandeliers sit against exposed wood and metal without either element apologizing for the other.

The Reception Barn

The barn is 2,600 square feet, built in a modern farmhouse style with chandeliers overhead and an adjoining outdoor patio. A grain silo has been converted into a working bar, one of the property's more photographed features. A full-service prep area sits off the reception space, stocked with a beverage cooler, ice machine, refrigerator, and sink for catering use. The barn also functions as an indoor ceremony option when weather calls for it.

The Grounds

Ceremony sites include a white gazebo overlooking the pond and a customizable arbor that can be set up anywhere on the property, so couples can set the ceremony wherever the view suits them. The bridal suite sits above the reception barn and includes a kitchen, a dressing room, cosmetic vanities, full-length mirrors, and ring lighting. The groom's cottage overlooks the pond and the horse stables and has its own full kitchen, two bathrooms, a sitting room, and an outdoor fire pit; the venue also offers complimentary catch-and-release fishing with poles provided, for a wedding party that wants a slower morning before the day starts.

What We Design Here

The barn gives floral work a clear set of materials to answer: warm wood, worked metal, and a fixture overhead that already supplies part of the lighting. That points toward low arrangements with weight and texture, kept down so the room's own architecture stays in view, in mixed vessels of ceramic, brushed metal and natural wood that echo the barn's finishes.

Outdoors, the gazebo and the arbor both sit in open pasture with the pond as a backdrop, which favors structural, wind-steady work that keeps its shape in the open. Choose a palette that reads clearly against green pasture by day and in the barn's warmer light at night, and the ceremony and the reception will feel like one continuous look.
