Our studio in Northwest Raleigh is a florist open on Saturday, with shorter hours, and it delivers the same day across the Triangle as long as the order comes in early. The Saturday cutoff is earlier than the weekday one. Open our same-day flower delivery page and enter the recipient's ZIP, and it shows today's cutoff for that area and how long is left to order. That one check tells you more than a list of shop hours. Delivery is priced by area, so the ZIP matters for cost too. Enter your ZIP for the current delivery charge.
We are a delivery-only studio. Your arrangement is made for your order, and one of our own drivers takes it to the door. We do not deliver on Sundays, so Saturday is the last delivery day of the week.
Order first, then spend the time on the card
Maybe you are in a grocery store parking lot, or at the kitchen counter, when a date on the calendar catches up with you. A sister's birthday. The anniversary that happened to land on a weekend this year. On a Wednesday you would have all afternoon. On Saturday the studio hours are shorter, and the same-day cutoff falls well before the studio closes.
Quincy Harris knows the feeling: "Oh man, this great florist came in when I was in a pinch, forgot a birthday and they managed to deliver a phenomenal gift in a short time period."
So choose quickly and save your minutes for the message. Every arrangement on the same-day page can be made for same-day delivery, which means you are already looking at the right list. If deciding is the slow part, Designer's Choice Custom Budget lets you set the budget and leave the design to us. Put a color she loves in the checkout note.
Size follows the room. A nightstand or a kitchen counter wants something compact that still leaves space for the coffee. A dining table can carry a fuller, wider piece. With Designer's Choice Custom Budget, the budget you name is the size, and the designer puts all of it to work.
The message field holds up to 300 characters, and a card for a date that slipped by is easier to write than people expect. You lost track of the day and you did not want it to pass without her hearing from you. Say that. Then sign your name, so she knows who remembered.
Ordering from out of state works the same way. Maybe your mother lives in Cary, or your college roommate just moved to Wake Forest. Check her ZIP, and the rest of the order goes as it would from down the road.
Every Saturday arrangement is made for its order
The studio is delivery-only on purpose, so that every arrangement can be made fresh when the order comes in. Order on a Saturday and yours is built that day, for that person.
When it is finished, a photo of it comes to you before it goes out the door. On a day you already feel behind, that photo is proof the order is handled. Marianna Howland cut it close and wrote afterward: "Ordered 6 minutes before same day delivery deadline and delivered right on time. I loved that they sent me a picture of the actual arrangement before delivery." Forward that picture to your brother and the whole family is in on it.
A birthday remembered late is what Saturday same-day covers. A large statement piece for a milestone or an event is worth ordering a few days ahead, so the designer has time to do it justice. If the occasion calls for one, send something warm today and plan the bigger piece for next week.
On a Saturday, home is the safer address
Office buildings can be quiet on a weekend, with no one at the front desk, so for most Saturday recipients the home address is the better bet. If you know she is spending the day at her parents' place in North Raleigh, send it there and let the card explain. Give us the home address from the start, and the arrangement goes straight to where she is.
When the driver is on the way, the recipient gets a text. On a weekend that text matters, since it gives her a chance to head home or ask a neighbor to bring the arrangement inside. If nobody answers the door, the driver leaves it on a shaded porch or with a neighbor, with a note saying where. An email tells you once it has been delivered, so you know it arrived.
The how same-day delivery works page walks through everything between your order and her doorstep. Our Raleigh same-day page covers Raleigh itself, with the neighborhoods, hospitals and funeral homes our drivers go to.
If today's window has closed, Monday is next
Sometimes the ZIP check says today's window has closed. An order placed after Saturday's cutoff is scheduled for the next available delivery day, which is Monday, and an order placed on Sunday goes out first thing Monday too. A Monday arrival lands at the start of her week, after the weekend calls and the leftover cake.
Call or text her on Saturday so the day itself does not pass in silence, and let the flowers follow. Back at work Monday, she can get them at the office: mark the address as commercial at checkout and add the suite number or floor. When an address sits just outside our delivery map, call the studio before you assume we cannot get there. The rest of the delivery details are in the FAQ.
If it is still Saturday morning, her ZIP on the same-day delivery page answers the one question that counts right now: whether today's window is still open.
