How It Starts
Every wedding begins with a conversation. Before we talk about a single stem, we want to know about you as a couple. What colors make you feel something. What flowers remind you of a place you love or a trip you took together. What style speaks to you — whether that’s soft and romantic, wild and garden-grown, clean and modern, or something that doesn’t fit neatly into a category at all.
When you’re ready to request a quote, we ask you to share a few things: a mood board with inspiration images that capture the look and feeling you’re after, an idea of how many guests you’re expecting, and your budget. The budget part matters — not because we’ll judge it, but because it lets us design honestly within what works for you instead of building a dream and then scaling it back.
From there, we’ll put together an approximate proposal. If the direction feels right, we meet in person. If we both feel the fit, you book your date with a deposit, and the real creative work begins.
The Design Process
We keep consultations intentional — typically three or four meetings, not a dozen back-and-forth emails that drain your energy. If your event calls for it, we’ll visit the venue for a walk-through so we can see the light, the architecture, the space we’re actually designing for. For larger events, we coordinate directly with your other vendors — the planner, the photographer, the lighting team — so the florals work with everything, not against it.
What we don’t do is hand you a line-item spreadsheet with stem counts and filler ratios. We design an experience. If you’d like to see a physical mock-up of a key piece before the day, we’re happy to create one. But our goal is always the same: when you walk into your ceremony, you feel it before you count it.
What Brides Don’t Expect
Here’s something we hear often: couples underestimate what flowers bring to a wedding. They’ll invest heavily in the venue, the DJ, the caterer — and then treat florals as an afterthought. But here’s what actually happens on the day: nobody talks about the appetizers at cocktail hour. Your guests will talk about the arch they stood under. They’ll remember the way the tables looked when they walked into the reception. The flowers are what turns a beautiful room into your wedding.
And when the night is over and the music stops, the flowers are what live on — in every photograph, in the bouquet your maid of honor catches, in the image that ends up framed on your wall ten years from now. They’re not decoration. They’re the memory.
Seasonal Flowers and Local Sourcing
We work closely with local growers across the Triangle to bring in flowers that are fresh, seasonal, and at their absolute best. There’s a richness to locally grown stems that imports can’t replicate — the colors are deeper, the petals last longer, and the arrangements feel alive in a way that matters on a day like yours.
That said, your vision comes first. If you’re dreaming of a tropical wedding with orchids, protea, and birds of paradise in the middle of a North Carolina winter, we’ll source exactly what you need. We’ve built relationships with specialty growers and importers who can deliver the right stems for any theme, any season. The goal is always to match the flowers to your vision — not the other way around.
Styles We Love
Most of our brides lean toward romantic, garden-inspired designs — lush, organic arrangements in soft whites and blush tones that feel like they were just gathered from an English garden. We love designing those, and we do them well.
But if we’re being honest, we light up when a bride walks in wanting something different. Bold color. Unexpected texture. The kind of arrangement that makes the room stop for a second. We live for the creative challenge — a bride who isn’t afraid of deep burgundy and burnt orange at a summer wedding, or jewel tones where everyone else would play it safe.
The Bridal Bouquet
For us, the bridal bouquet is the single most important piece of the entire event. It’s in every photo. It’s what you’re holding during the most emotional moments of your life. It deserves to be extraordinary.
We design traditional hand-tied bouquets, cascading arrangements, and structured designs — but we’re always hoping for the bride who wants to push the boundaries. A five-foot trailing bouquet that moves like fabric. A floral stola draped across your shoulders instead of a veil. An arm piece that wraps from wrist to elbow like living jewelry. These are the pieces that don’t just complement a dress — they become part of it.
If you’ve been saving an idea that every other florist told you was too ambitious, bring it to us.
Corporate Events and Galas
Weddings aren’t the only celebrations we design for. From intimate corporate dinners to large-scale galas and product launches, we bring the same creative attention to every event — just shaped around your company’s identity instead of a couple’s love story.
We work with your brand colors, your aesthetic, and the impression you want to leave on your guests. Whether it’s elegant table arrangements for a boardroom dinner, a statement installation for a fundraiser stage, or full-venue florals for an extravagant gala, we have the team, the resources, and the vision to execute at any scale. If your event needs to represent your company beautifully, that’s exactly what we do.
Setup and the Day-Of
We don’t just deliver boxes and leave. Our team arrives before your ceremony to build and style everything on-site. Some pieces — like a ceremony arch or a hanging chandelier installation — need to be constructed at the venue, and we give ourselves the time to do that properly. The scope of setup depends on the design: an intimate dinner might take an hour, a full-scale installation could take a full morning.
You won’t need to think about any of it. By the time you arrive, every petal is in place.
